Joe surprised us all by living a long, long life, the last 15 years of which were  in Portland. He and Mom often said they never expected to see the age of 60, as they had both experienced the passing of their parents at young ages. Until his last days he continued to keep his humor, and even kept up with politcal banter. Peace and hugs to you Dad.
