My dear friend whom I will mis dearly. Sharing our love of music-favorite composers and Chloe stories-always made my day. Will miss his sense of humor and his caring nature-particularly his devotion to our beloved Chloe..and of course his devotion to his life partner, Philip. He will live on in our memories-a most lovely man-Bob-so proud to have known him
I wish I had known Bob longer. Bob was such a kind and gentle man. I loved being around him. He really enjoyed talking to me about some of his favorite movies!
We will miss you Bob. God Bless…..
Dear Phil Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. Bob was a gentle, intelligent, kind, and humorous man. We enjoyed our many conversations at our neighborhood gatherings. He will be missed! Fondly, John and Anne
To Phil ~ We were deeply saddened to hear that your beloved Bob had passed. May the knowledge that your devotion, love, compassion and caregiving never wavered especially during the end of Bob's extraordinary life carry and sustain you during the difficult days of loss ahead. Our condolences to you and Bob's family and friends ~

Dear Phil, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.
Bob was a wonderful man, I always enjoyed our talks when we walked together in CA. Please take care of yourself. We Love you Ceil and Paul
Dear Phil, Although we only got to know Bob for too short a time, he was a special and valued member of our Greengate Community
and a dear friend to us. That special smile whenever we brought him some sweets will always be a happy memory. We will miss him.

We send our deepest sympathy and our prayers to you. The first time we met you and Bob at a Greengate event his smile was so contagious and welcoming. May the memories and love you shared help to make you smile as time passes. Anne and Paul
Although we only knew Bob for a short time as our next-door neighbor, we still had a feeling for his unique personality. Whether it was solving crossword puzzles, enjoying ice cream whenever he could, or struggling to get around, Bob managed to continue to have a smile on his face. The care from Phil was amazing! My dear Uncle Bob, the gentlest soul I have ever known. I will miss your
smiling face, your care and concern for all your family. You were the last of the McCarthy boys and you will never be forgotten.
Please remember to see the wonderful story submitted by Bob's (John) Army buddy, Don McPhee - friends for 63 years!
Bob will be dearly missed! His winning smile and gentle manner will be a beautiful memory for me. Iam forever grateful for all the kindness he showed me over these 20 years or so and the fun I shared with both him and Anna and then with you his amazing life partner.
God bless, love Alex MacDonnell
Dear gentleman Bob, what a blessing it was to have known him. One of his favorite games my husband and I played with him is this: One of us would drum a tune on a table top and the other two would have to guess what the song it was we were drumming. Sound silly? It was great fun. Bless this man forever.
