John was one of a kind. Strong, yet a quiet and sensitive man. So happy to have known him. He will certainly be missed.

John, it has been one year today since your passing.
In unison, today, the trees will put forth new spring growth and the flowers will bloom side by side with my loving memories of you and your love of nature and this great universe that you now roam.  I love and miss you.  Susie.

For Beloved John , the Noah of the Ark, who lived with me on the mountain for a lifetime. I am deeply grateful for your abundant generosity and love that kept our gardens green and blossoming. In celebration of your life, I recognize you in all that you cared for, which lives on eternally within me. Carolyn Campagna Kleefeld

John...Thinking of you on your Bday good buddy. I hope the fishing's good, and they have a nice Thanksgiving dinner for you with all the fixings'...I know that was your favorite. You are loved, and missed. So many good times and great memories!....Love, Max

I went to dinner with Jenny on your birthday, Johnny, and we thought of you.  I actually thought of you all day and every since I got home from AZ.  Max learned how to play a song on the guitar you gave him.  He misses you too.  I know you are free of pain and worry and looking out after me and everyone you love.  I feel your presence.  I miss you so very much.

It's been two long years since your passing.  I think of you every day and miss you so very much.  I am still in North Fork and Bigfoot is still in the front yard,
even though his feet have been eaten off by varmints.  I feel you looking over me sometimes and tear up.  I hope your beloved pets have found their way to join you on your astral journey through time and space.

John, this is a tribute to you from your dear friend, Max Flandorfer.  He learned how to play his first piece on the guitar you gave him.  He calls me and checks on me from time to time and vice versa.  Love, Susie

This message is from Glenn Paris.  He asked me to leave a tribute to you, John.  He misses you.  I miss you.  Here is his message:  John, one of the best men I have ever known. A mountain man. And a mountain of a man. Love animals. I think of you often, and always will. Friends since teens.  A good friend until the end. You will always be with me in my thoughts. So many laughs and good memories. Hope to see you later. Your old fishing buddy, Glenn

Your birthday was yesterday.  If you had still been on this earth you would have turned 75.  Jen and I are going to Yosemite today to see the beautiful fall foliage.  It is also Thanksgiving. Thinking of you.  Loving and missing you, always.  Susie.

Today is the 3 year anniversary of your passing.  Time is flying by.  I don't cry as much, dear brother, but I still miss you every day.  We had such good times together goofing around in the mountains and eating tacos and meatball sandwiches.  Thinking of you today, Johnny.  I love you very much.  Susie.

Glenn Paris passed away on 9-2-2021.  Johnny, he was your friend since your teens.  Maybe you both will meet up some day.  I am posting a picture of you and Glenn in the 60's, enjoying a Margarita together. DeeAnn is heartbroken, as I know how she must feel.  Thinking of you today.  Love, Susie.

11-25-21.  Happy Birthday, Johnny.!  Also, Happy Thanksgiving!  I thought about you today, as always.  I watched a movie that I know you would have loved.  Call of the Wild.  I ate turkey dinner - your favorite.  Max called me and we talked about you.  If you were still here you would have turned 76 today.  I miss you so much, dear brother.I love you.  Susie.

3-18-22  I am thinking of you today, Johnny.  It's been 4 years since your passing.  Many things have changed since then.  I am still in North Fork.  Daniel came to visit last month and painted and staked the other Bigfoot that you made out in the front yard.  Every time I look at it I think of you.  I love you and miss you.  I'm going fishing soon.  Wish you were here.  XOXOXOXOXO

11-25-22  Happy Birthday, Johnny!  I thought of you most of the day today.  Life was way too short for you and it always makes me sad.  I think back to when we went places with each other and what a nice time we had.  I'm still in North Fork.  I just can't find a place I want to move to.  I keep you in my thoughts and dreams.  I feel you are watching over me.  I miss you.  I love you.

03/18/23  It's been five years now since you have passed away, Johnny.  I am still in North Fork.  This winter so far isn't over yet and the storms took down a few trees.  I was snowed in with no electricity for 11 days.  The storm reminded me of the time you and I experienced 13 days without power winter 2000-2001.  I love and miss you every day.  I wish you were here, Love, Susie.

I am thinking of you today, Johnny.  It’s your birthday and as usual it’s a sad day for me because I miss you so very much. Max stays in touch with me and he’s raising a beer to toast you and he did that on Thanksgiving too, since turkey was his dinner - his favorite and yours.  Everyone misses you. I will continue to love you for eternity.

I thought about the time you took me up the byway to see the pink wild flowers in bloom. That was the last time we went there together. It's been 6 long years without you.  Max keeps in touch. Carolyn loves the pictures I sent her that you took.  I feel you every day in my heart and I know you are near.  Please don't ever leave me.  Guide me.  Help me.  Always love me.  Susie.

It's been 7 years since you passed away and I still think about you every day and miss you.   I have the property up for sale.  It's time for me to go somewhere else and get back into my artwork.  Bigfoot and the wolves are staying right here where they belong.  Max and I keep in touch.  I miss you so much and I love you forever, Johnny.  Kisses and hugs dear brother, Love, Susie.

Happy Birthday, Johnny!  If you were still here on earth you would be 80 years old today!  Not a day goes by that I don't think of you.  I sold the NF property and moved to be near Stephanie.  Jenny is fine.  Monetha and I are now estranged.  Too much drama.  Beautiful thoughts coming your way, dear brother. I love you!  New owners of NF will take good care of the wolves and Bigfoot!

8 years already. Spring is here. I remember going with you on the loop and you taking a picture of me standing in the middle of a meadow surrounded by hot pink wild flowers that perfectly matched my hot pink blouse. What a great memory of the two of us together. I miss the mountains and all the fun we had exploring them. I miss you every day. I love you dear brother with all my heart.
