I just heard and I am so sorry for the family. At the same time I am so happy that he will be reunited with his dad. I have great memories with them camping and watching the 49ers at camp in the early 80's.
I always admired their relationship. Until we need again, God Bless you J.O. You were one of a kind.
I still think of you all the time, buddy. I think of all the hours we spent together together growing up, playing sports, going to the cabin or ranch, hanging out at the pool or staying up all night talking all things. Know that you are still missed and thought about. I was blessed to have you as a friend/brother. Hi to your dad for me and in case you forgot...the Vikings suck. ;)
"What's J.O. stand for?" "John Orrin." "Ok." Friendship began immediately. J.O., after I moved from Pleasanton, my heart was crushed. The first time I returned to visit, at Harvest Park in the 8th grade, you yelled out "GREG PHEBUS?!? I returned the yalp with, "JOHN ORRIN!" Look brother, I love you. I know in my soul you went out with pure kindness in your soul. You are loved, always.
I'm not done J.O. God you were fun. That day at Harvest Park saved me. I still feel you today. Thank you. I last saw you when we were 17 at Perry's Pizza. You were the exact same. I still look forward to watching the perfect Superbowl with you. Raiders (me) vs. 49ers(you). Until we me again man. I refuse to do anything else but smile for you. To your family and friends...thank you.
