Very sad to hear this news. I hadn't spoken to him in many years and often wondered what he was up to and how he was doing. My very first friend when I moved to Moraga in 1974. I know he's probably playing riffs on his guitar up in heaven right now. RIP John. Wish I could have spoken to you again.

John and I played a lot of music together! Many jams in Canyon and other beautiful areas of Moraga. We saw many Grateful Dead shows together! John was a music appreciator and extremely talented guitar player! I had always looked forward to seeing and playing music with him again. I’m so sorry for this loss. May the four winds blow you safely home.

John it saddens me to here ur no longer with us ..  When I met you in Vegas with ur dog we were both going thru some hard times and yet we became wonderful friends I've been looking for you for 5 years and could not find you until I came across ur obituary It hurts that I could not say fare well I'll forever remember what an amazing person you were ull for ever be in my heart .
