I remember going all the way through elem, middle and high school with John David. What a nice family. My prayers are with you.

I grew up on the same street with JD and spent many a day playing baseball and football in his backyard. He is a good part of my childhood. He had an infectious sense of humor seeming to always be ready to laugh at something silly. This is how I remember him. I think of him as a brother and I am richer to have known him.
We will all be joining you soon enough, my friend. Save us a seat.

JD, my friend, you were always so kind and funny and always a joy to be around. I will miss you everyday until we meet again. You truly, as Paul said, run the race and touched so many of our lives. I cherish the memories we made and will miss you.
