So many memories of a wonderful brother - just a few......In the early 1942, after the Japanese occupation of HongKong, John made his own sling shot, being a pretty good marksman, he would shot down sparrows, mother would cook them and we actually ate them...Japanese Officers, during the occupation would drop in with some treats for us children, for some reason they took a liking to John..

Continuation. -  one evening when 4 drunk Japanese soldiers got into our house, fortunately our Father and the boys managed to get them out. The next day John told the Japanese Officer of the incident and the Officer posted a sign outside our door in Japanese " no unauthorized person may enter these premises".... Other memories too, John I miss you, also. the annual Persimon & Fig shipment
