We are sorry to hear about Joe's passing. Our hearts go out to Mary Alice and the family at the loss of such a spirited man. Bill and I have fond memories of Joe lording over the MH warehouse fiefdom, his gentle spirit, and his affinity for the outdoors. Theresa & Bill

I'm also so sad to hear of Joe's passing.  Mountain Hardwear only had great warehouse managers, but Joe certainly set the standard.  Joe made the warehouse crew part of the company, and ran it totally professionally, as an inspiration for the rest of us.  I don't get to many reunions any more, but I'll miss him all the same.  PK

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Mary Alice, I am sorry for your loss. I met Joe while working at MHW. We bonded over our love of running. He introduced me to the Dipsea trail. I ran parts of the trail with Joe a few times. Each time I struggled just to keep up, Joe always encouraged me to keep going. He was a great mentor! Joe will be missed.

Mary Alice and family- I am so sorry for your loss and my thoughts are with you. I have many fond memories of working with Joe during my Muir Heritage Land Trust days. He contributed so much to that organization and several others. How he loved the trails! Joe will definitely be missed. Beth
