Janice was always the most gracious of step mothers.  She took me into her arms and asked me to call her mom immediately. A sparkling conversationalist, her phone conversations were filled with laughter and kindness.  I'm eternally grateful to her for raising such a great group of men and women that I'm lucky enough to now call family.  Love you Mom!

Aunt Jan was a lovely lady and a good friend. I will miss her dearly. She was a very devoted mother and shining light whenever she entered a room. Love you, Jan

Hi Mom, it's so very hard to say good bye, so I'll say so long knowing that you're looking over us all and that one day I'll be again in your presence. Thank you for all the wonderful childhood memories of camping, fun and frolic. I love you and miss you. Danny (Nee Nee Bugers)

Dear Grandma Jan,
Thank you for being so strong. I was looking forward to seeing you again someday, and I'm sorry that I'll have to wait. However, you were a wonderful lady, and I'm proud to be your granddaughter. Please say hi to Matt, Grandpa and Uncle Grant. I hope that I dream about you soon.
Love Alexandra

Hi Mom,
You always made me feel like a daughter and I loved you as a Mom. I will always treasure our time together. I remember walking to your house after school. You would make tea and we would talk for hours. You were loving, supportive and had a great sense of humor. I miss you and your beautiful smile. All my love Joanne ("Jo")
