Well, my Aunt Jane, sister of my mom, contributed significantly to raising me from a pup. Our family, then of 6 (BJC--Before Jane Canale) vacationed with her, Uncle Joe, Mary, Denise, and Tom, w. beach visits, cookouts, lots of laughter, sometimes intersections with Uncle Jim and his super family. I think Aunt Jane made everyone feel special (especially me). To be cont'd if pos., lines up!
Pt. 2. Aunt Jane combined resilience, empathy, inquiry, and joy. She saw the big picture, loved nature, passed that on to her kids and theirs. When she knew her memory was stepping back, she read about the brain in Scientific American. What a woman! I hope together we in her extended family plus friends keep playing her tune. Love from Ann
Jane was an amazing person. My memories is her big smile, loving heart and her laughter. She always lighted up a room with her presence. You will be missed.
I was so sorry to hear about Jane. Her passing brought back a flood of memories of her and my mom living at The Cottages of Carmel. They sure loved their music didn't they! How fortunate for my mom to have had Jane living nearby and helping to bring a little levity to their living situations. I will remember her fun loving nature along with her stubbornness! I will also always remember that she brought a bit of extra pleasure to my mom's last coherent day by holding her hand and singing the music that they both loved. I wish we had had the pleasure of knowing her in years past. I know you all will hold her memories with you tightly and fondly. Hugs, Denise Z.
