I love you, Janny! You will always have a special place in my heart! I am so glad you moved close to me, so we had more time together. You were an important part of our family and we loved you very much! Love, Ellie

Although we lived in different locations, vacations and holidays together gave us many wonderful memories. One of the best was the visit to Sicily...also, Christmases and visits to the lake. Your warmth, kindness, and sense of humor made our get-togethers the best. We will always remember you with so much love. Pete and Lucy

"I feel so lucky and fortunate to have known Jan!  She came to Peninsula Reflections on Memorial Day Weekend and left us a week after 4th of July.  I thought we had the flags and banners up for the holidays, but I think they were there for Jan!  Such a loving character who brought joy to our community.  Her easy-going demeanor made life seem easy-breezy; the calm breeze that comforts. Jill

Jan was such a bright, loving soul I'm glad to have known. She came to Peninsula Reflections and touched the hearts of everyone she met here - the residents, visitors, and staff will remember her charming persona and kindhearted smile! We will miss her dearly. May she rest in peace, Trista

It was such a pleasure to have another member of the Fleming family move to California. Jan had the same family attributes of kindness, warmth and thoughtfulness. Her love of southern cooking, Christmas at the Louthans, sense of humor are just a  few of the wonderful memories. You will be missed by everyone you touched .Rest in peace Love Diane

A positive person, with a bright smile, that's what Jan showed every single day since she became part of our lives at Peninsula Reflections. It was heartwarming looking at her smiling every morning. She will be missed, but also remembered as the attentive and caring person she was. Thank you for your smile, Jan, and thank you for your kindness. Rommy.

Aunt Jan, your warm & loving personality will sure be remembered. I'll never forget when we had our "girls days" in Baton Rouge. Every "girls day" we shopped till we dropped, chatted & laughed for the whole day. When you moved out to CA, it was so much fun reconnecting with you. We would cook, gossip, tell jokes & catch up whenever you were over at the house. I will miss you so very much!

Aunt Jan I love you, it was a great pleasure being your nephew- sharing laughs and spending such quality time together over the years. Despite the circumstances you always brought a positive attitude to life, and I'll always remember you as a smiling bright light. From as far back as the beach days, we have shared great memories. which I will never forget! Love you Aunt Jan

Jan was the cool big sister when Ellen & I were nerdy kids.  From us laughing at charades at the beach to Jan's great parties while we were at LSU to her  warm southern hospitality when Ellen came to BR, Jan had a way of always making everyone feel welcomed and loved..and making us laugh!  We are all very fortunate to have had Jan in our lives!  Jan you are so loved.  Love, Lucie
