I;m sorry for your loss. My father, Jim Clarke, former Pleasant Hill mayor used to talk about JIm quite often. I actually think that my father liked Mr. Alkire and that the feeling was mutual, at least on a personal basis if not a political and Pleasant HIll business basis.

I worked for the City of Pleasant Hill for 9 years.  He was a fantastic leader and a kind person with a great sense of humor.  As this was my first full-time job, I count myself blessed to have worked under his leadership.
