So many memories made with the Castro family; I don't know which is the most precious!  My folks & the Castros made life fun! From Gumba pizzas on Friday nights to Jeanne & my 21 birthday trip to Tahoe for our first night club experience & all the family ski trips to your cabin in between, you were always a lovely, fun, generous and caring friend. My life was enriched by you.

I have many great memories of Ida. I worked with Don at Shell Development. When they opened C &C Deli with Frank and Alva l helped out there after work. All four of them took me to San Francisco for my 21st birthday. She will be missed. All my thoughts and prayers go out to the family.  RIP Ida.

How can one sum up forty years of a fabulous friendship? Ida was such a beautiful, kind and loving person and enriched our lives abundantly. We shared so many adventures, and as I have been reflecting on them, I realize how she was the catalyst for fun! From food shows to picnics, from golf events to Sunday drives, to skiing and relaxing, from Theater to fine dining and FIG parties/ WOW!

Teta, I am so sad that you are not with us any more! My heart is breaking! I just hope you know how great of an aunt you were to me! I remember when I moved from Fresno to live with you for a few months but it ended up being 2 years! I loved how we would go out for coffe and talk for hours and couldn't get through our Jazzersize class without laughing so hard we had tears! ❤️ You forever!

Ida Castro was a neighbor of my family for decades, and I always thought she was one of the most gracious, giving, sweet-spirited women I'd ever met. She attended my father's memorial in January -- she was such a comfort to us -- and once more I was struck by her presence. Ida was a bright light on this planet. My thoughts are with Jeanne and Tony and the entire family. (Patty) Ann Clark

Dear Teta
It is so hard to write anything, because I can't really believe you are gone from our lives.  You were a very special aunt & god mother to me. You always amazed me how hard you worked and still had time to help others with no judgement at all. Love you with all my heart and will miss your cooking too.  love your niece Linda
