It certainly was an honor having crossed paths with Mr. Howard Wade, while at City Hall of Fort Valley. There are very few people you meet who is a total package & he was as I recall a young man with vision, goal, passion and integrity. His stance & demeanor spoke volumes & left an imprint in so many he came across. He indeed was a gifted young man of God. Sharonita may God bless you.
CPT Wade was a great leader and friend he will be missed by many
From the first day I met him in his first days of being in the Army he was so driven, passionate, caring, intelligent I mean I could go on and on. I remember the birth of his daughter, his marriage he was sooo happy with both events. Even we were in Iraq his smile would make your cloudiest days sunny and he was genuine. You have made a tremendous impact in everyone's life. RIP Sir.
Howard, we will definitely miss you! You were an awesome brother and a great example of what a father/brother/husband should be! Rest in Heaven sir! Miss Lailah and Sharonita, you guys are in my thoughts and prayers!
A warrior, a leader, a Wildcat and an inspiration. You will be missed!
Thoughts of you forever will enter my mind!! Howard was most definitely one of a kind and could bring joy to anyone that may have been going through something.

Today, and forever on, you rest easy brother. I only had the pleasure of meeting you once, back in 2011 for homecoming, but even that time gave me a lasting impression of you. A strong man, and a strong spirit. Everything a true Alpha is supposed to be and inspire. We'll miss you big bruh.
May God continue to watch over your family and keep them strong during this tragic time. You will truly be missed. A good man gone too soon. Rest in paradise Howard.

RIP to a Great Leader and warrior. He had a contagious smile and big heart. My prayers goes out to his family. It was an honor to serve with him.
My family and I truly enjoyed the time we spent with Howard. I met a lot of men in my day that I considered a friend but none with a heart as big as Howard's. His presence could light up any room. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your daughter.
RIP Francis! I am still in disbelief...you were always such a nice person with a smile of gold...I pray that God covers your family with strength and peace at this time...
I would like to send condolences to the family of Howard Wade. I met when I was a freshman at Fort Valley State University. He is one of the best people I have ever known. To me he was a big brother, and as a military man myself, he is a brother in arms, and in God's arm today and forever. He is a leader of men. Howard will be missed by this world, but I know why God called on him. As a human bein
I am happy that God allowed me to cross paths with Howard. You had such a beautiful presence and that smile sealed the deal, always kind and helpful. I'm so glad that my friend and line sister had the pleasure of calling you her husband because to know you was to know beauty and love. She will always have a piece of you in your beautiful daughter. RIP Howard, you will truly be missed.
I met Cpt Wade at the child development center where Laila attended. He and Sharonita were the nicest couple I had ever met. Both of them had a smile that lite up a room. CPt Wade used to call me little hands because mine were so much smaller than his. He was a beautiful person and loved his family very much. I pray God 's peace, joy and comfort will continue to rest upon the famiy.
Howard and I worked together at ALU as intructors. The first time we met we hit it off like we had know each other for years. He would always come upstairs or I would go down and see him. We always had great conversations and talked about everything good or bad. He was truly a joy to be around and had geniue concern and care for others. It was an honor and pleasure to know him.
It hard to believe you are gone, but I know God have a great man with him now. I remember our FVSU days, and we all dreamed of how it going to be after graduation. I always look up to you because, you always had a big heart, and you always wanted to help others. RIP my friend, I going to pray for your family .
I am totally speechless...It is so hard to believe that the world will never see your smile or be blessed by your dynamic personality again. I remember like it was yesterday we were at Ft. Lee passing one another in the halls telling jokes and laughing, secretly throwing up the "Phi" in formations or in briefings. I will keep your family in prayer. You will never be forgotten. '06!!!
While stationed at Ft.Stewart 04-07 plus are deployment together you never made me feel enlisted or any less than a man because of your rank. Thank you for the wisdom that I carry with me everyday. You are greatly missed and truly loved. R.I.P my brother
For my first re enlistment CPT Wade was the officer who read the oath at the ceremony. it was at the motor pool at fort bragg. he didnt need the oath printed out to read it, he had it memorized. my wife and son were there and that was a special moment of my life and im glad that he was there with me to share. i will never forget him. RIP sir.
Howard was a great man, I rember times in Iraq when I was going through some family issues and he was their for me, never judge me and always had something positive to say to get me through. He was gone to soon, but he will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Sir
A true homie, he was crazy as hell, laughing and joking with him everyday about the stuff in Iraq! A damn good S3 also, as a 1SG I never had to beat up the S3 shop. RIP brutha!
It's so amazing how much of an impact he left on so many souls. Just recently, I was driving and in passing this vehicle was turning in front of me, and I seen this infectious smile and amazing image of the Angel we all called CPT Wade. If I didn't know any better I would have sworn it was him. I can't remember one encounter with him that wasn't fun filled and full of life. RIH Sir
