My first post-college job in 1976 was as a dental research assistant for Dr.; Bailit..  He was a model of integrity and I learned a great deal about the realities of conducting field research during my year with his team.  I've thought of him many times throughout my own academic research career and I wish now I'd reached out to thank him.  My sincere condolences to his family.
