A loving family man that will be missed dearly.
Harvey was a favorite at Vahl's Piano Bar in Alviso, CA. He had a wonderful voice and we loved to hear him sing. His smile, gentle manner and kindness made it such a joy to be around him. We will always remember him singing his favorite songs. I know he will be singing in heaven. We miss him dearly.
A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on. Please accept my condolences.
I always enjoyed talking to Harvey about airplanes. It was a treat when his wife and daughter(s) would visit Vahls so we could hear him sing. I know he is in a better place now, singing with the angels.
Harvey was a real Gentleman. He taught me plenty of things over the years but most of all to keep on "hanging in" as he would always say.He loved his wife, and family. When he showed up at the airfield everyone's day was brightened. Wish we could have one more dinner or night of drinks & conversation. He was truly great and will be missed forever. We could all stand to be more like Harvey
I knew Harvey as not only a warm, lively singer and musical friend, but as a father who loved all of his special children. I too have a beautiful "special needs" daughter and a gifted daughter as well. Harvey and Wanda and I shared the challenges and blessings being parents of diverse children can offer. He was an accomplished and caring man; I pray for his continuing, not only in our thou
