When I think of Bunky, I can't help but smile. Thoughts of him are thoughts of fun gatherings, smiles, laughter, great sharing, and of course great music. I will miss him.

I'm saddened to hear of Bunky's passing, though I'm sure he's in a better place now. We taught in the prep. program at NEC, and I remember a conversation we had about the importance of teaching the young students harmony. I hadn't really thought about the importance of that at the time, so his words resonated with me so strongly that I wrote a song for him and called it Harry Emerson!
Dear Family,
With a broken heart and endless sadness, I feel extreme pain in connection with the death of my great friend, a great musician and a man with a big soul and open heart Harold. His friendliness and advice of my older friend and appreciation of my professional work mean a lot to me. In my heart Harry stayed forever.
Eternal memory and my deepest condolences to family and friends. Regards, Georgiy (Maestro)

Dear Family, It was hard to absorb the news.. Bunky was my last uncle to pass and I will always hold a special place in my heart for him. As my uncle & my wife's brother, Bunky was an integral thread in the fabric of my life. My memories of time spent w/him & his beloved family are vivid & precious... the talent recitals, Easters, yard work & 1-on-1 mentoring I'll forever cherish -Ts
It has been an honor and privilege to have had Bunky in my life for so many years. One connection and memory I’ll always have is our passion for golf. Unfortunately, we never had the opportunity to play a round of golf together. However, we’ll always have our connection and I’ll continue to reflect fondly on our conversations about the game. Thinking of you! - Peter
When I think of my uncle Bunky, I recall my visits to the Harvard Square camera shop. I could always rely on him for photography advice when I needed help with my old PENTAX camera! I appreciated his expertise, and encouragement to improve my skills and not be afraid to try to learn new things. I am so pleased that he and aunt Lee could join us on this most important occasion in my life. Until we meet again, my uncle. — Love, JMB
