I had not spoken with Marvin for many years but I will always remember him as a friend. My greatest wish now is that his family and friends find comfort and peace. Thanks for the memories, Marvin and for touching the hearts of so many people.

I'm so sorry to hear of the untimely death of my teammate and friend. Marvin was a friendly person who was easy to like. The world needed more people, not less, like him. He will be missed. The good news is that we will all soon join him where we will have eternity to fellowship as we worship our LORD Jesus.

These last few days have been filled with memories of Marvin, the laughter, the willingness to help out a neighbor, watching him prepare for his Appalachian trail adventure and Halloween! ( who lives in a pineapple under the sea?) He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  We can't imagine what the family is going through but our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am so sorry to read that Marvin passed from this life.  He was my grandfather's (William Raymond Mason) brother's (Marvin Mason) son's (Hersey Mason) son. I only knew him as "Lil Marvin" but never had the pleasure of getting to know him.  He spent time with my mother during hospice care and took her to visit Turks Ferry one last time before she passed 12/24/16. Condolences to the family.

I am shocked to learn of Marvin's death. His father, Hersey, was my first cousin. My mother was born and raised on Turks Ferry Farm. I want to keep in touch with his family and others in the Mason family. William Howard Armstrong, son of Edna Mason, the sister of Marvin's grandfather. I visited the farm many times when I was young.
