I believe, if this is the same Gilbert Held, was also a prolific letter writer to The Macon Telegraph. As Editorial Page Editor, while I didn't agree with many of his opinions, I published his letters. They added to the community conversation we so sorely lack now. I'm sorry for his passing and pray for his family.
