A beautiful woman inside and out! This picture is on the occassion of her 90th birthday!!! Twelve beloved grand children who called her Grand Gerry and four devoted children. Grand Gerry was the best and died as she lived on her own terms with dignity and faith. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Grand Gerry as she was liked to be called was a woman who was wise, loving, caring, and most of all, strong. Love is patient, love is kind, it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preservers. Tears are God’s gift to us. Our holy water. They heal us as they flow. God Bless, I will miss you forever.
Love, Parker Diamond
Mom was my moral compass, never judged, always positive. I was the lucky one to marry into her beautiful family.
There is a huge hole in my heart, tears cascading from my eyes. You are irreplaceable, the essence of a great American. Rest in peace, sweet Gerry. God bless you.
I have not seen my Aunt Gerry in many years, since my mother passed. She was, as always, so engaging and so kind. And she looked sharp, as she always did. What I remember most about my Aunt Gerry is her voice, that remarkable, distinctive, one-in-a-million voice. I loved that voice. I’ll surely be listening for it when it is my turn to go over to the other side. God bless. Craig.
