I met Gavin as a young man in the 90's selling technology into Putnam.  Gavin was an amazing person, intelligent, sharp, exceptionally well spoke, but most of all, a very good person.  I considered him a friend and only wish I had gotten to know him better.  I am so grateful to have met Gavin. Twenty-five years later and his impact is still strong.
