Words can't be said about my wife. She loved all and was loved by all. Friendly, honest, caring, a wonderful wife, lover, and best friend. She lived life to the fullest and until cancer stopped her, she wanted to continue. She is in the arms of God and Jesus who welcomed her with open arms.
"‘Tis a fearful thing to love what death can touch. A fearful thing to love, to hope, to dream, to be – to be, And oh, to lose. A thing for fools, this, And a holy thing, a holy thing to love. For your life has lived in me, your laugh once lifted me, your word was gift to me. To remember this brings painful joy. ‘Tis a human thing, love, a holy thing, to love what death has touched."
Death is a natural part of life and I know that I will see my mom again. But until that day I will have a void that only my mom could fill. She was always quick to cheer, encourage, forgive, be corny, and show love. She embraced my friends as her own (facebook requests) and loved her family. She welcomed all she encountered into her life with open arms.
So sorry for your loss. Gail was a nice lady and always had a kind word for me when we met at the Register of Deeds Office. I'll keep her and the family in my prayers.

This is from Eddie French, Gail's son. Mom, I love you very much and miss you. I know that you are in a better place without pain and suffering. Just make a place for me and the rest of the family in heaven. God bless
It has been a long hard week for Gail's family with her passing from brain cancer on the 17th at about this time. She is terribly missed and loved always. I have been posting pictures and stories about her on facebook and other resources and have loved the memories that other people have shared. I am sure that Mindy, Amber, and Eddie agree with this. She was a very special lady, always liked a person the first time she met him, even though he may have been 7' tall. She always wanted to ride a train again and it is going be hard not to cry when I take her ashes home to NC on a train for the last time. I will have a necklace around my neck with her ashes alongside the one I wear honoring my wife with a locket honoring her fight with brain cancer and our wedding rings. Please remember her in your thoughts and prayers and our families as we miss her always. God bless you Gail Hargrave French Parham.
I was shopping in Lane Bryant today and remembered the last time I seen Gail I was shopping and she came up to me and we started catching up on what had happened in the last several years. I had moved to NC and then back, we went over different friends that we worked with and she preceded to tell me she was moving to NC to be near her girls. I was so excited for her. One precious lady.
I was happy she met John and once again found love. I forgot to say we met years a go when she sold my mom a 3 wheel bike that my mom enjoyed so much. We passed paths a many time, church and work. We know she is looking down from above with that big smile of hers. One compassionate, kind lady. She will be missed by all. Hugs to the family!!!!
