This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Father Richard Gross, 80, born on August 14th, 1944 and passed away on January 20th, 2025. We will remember him forever.
Father Richard Gross helped me after I lost my baby. I was lost and he listened and gave me hope. He was a true gift to all those who knew him. I wish I could have repaid him for the gift of faith he gave me.
During 1979 and 1980 Father Gross traveled every Sunday night from From Dorchester all the way to Chestnut Hill to say Mass in my Resident Assistant apartment for fellow Catholic Students.
His dedication to his Jesuit mission was felt by all of us in "The Mods" and he will be forever loved by us all.
