Denise and I remember both Bill and Evelyn with great appreciation and affection.  Evelyn was always a joy, her smile and spirit were infectious.  It is true that her home was always open.  She and Bill hosted both Denise and I over a 5 month period every weekend as we drove from Wake Forest NC up to Richmond where I served as youth director at Pine St UMC.  Our love to you all.  Clayton
