Our mother lived a long, happy life filled with lots of love from her family and friends. She was especially fond of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and had pictures of all on the mantel at home. Gardening was also a love of hers. She had a green thumb and for those who would drive by her house - were treated to a picture-perfect landscape filled with every color of the rainbow.
I will always have fond childhood memories working on Noni/Elsie's prune orchard. She would always invite us in to have a cold glass of her delicious freshly made lemonade. She will be missed.
Dear Rita and family, I was so lucky to have your mom as my God mother- I always enjoyed her beautifully written cards, and visiting her home, especially when we were growing up...Morgan Hill was so far from Greenfield back then! Your mom is with my mom now which brings me peace-we were lucky to have them as long as we did...
