Ed was a wonderful guy. I know this because of how blessed Loretta and Gary were to have him as part of their family. I'm told he was like a father to Loretta and clearly had a generous heart. My prayers are with Ed's family and wish them God's peace during this difficult time. Steve Knapp
Dear Taft Family,
Ed was an incredible man. I had the pleasure of being neighbors with Ed & Connie on Tyler Lane on Antipoison Creek in White Stone, VA. Ed was there when my wife, Katie and I built our first home, got our first dog, brought home two children, and eventually moved 3 years ago. Ed was genuine, caring, and always had a smile on his face
Dear Cindy and Deb, So very sorry to hear of Ed's passing. Deep love means deep hurt. Love y'all and will be praying for you.
Bea and Connie's family
My husband Joe and I got to know Ed when he and our friend Connie married. He was very good to her as to everyone he met. We spent lots of happy times together and will miss his smiling face and upbeat spirit. Gods peace be with you and the family in his loss.

I just heard of Ed's passing and my heart is heavy. He was such a joy to be around and so full of life. I cleaned his house in whitestone for several years and we talked about all kinds of things. I gave him some dating tips and he gave me some, too. He was a happy person and spread that happiness to all that knew him. I will truly miss him. Praying for his family, Darlene Benson Griffith
