Ed - my sweet, humble, smart, strong brother. I loved your easy manner from when we were Eddie and Sissy (11 months apart); the oldest two of six; high school, when we shared friends, hopes and dreams; college when  I was at VCU and you at Richmond. A great brother, uncle to my kids, father and husband. I thank God for you. Rest in peace with Dad, Matt, Jane, and our Savior in Heaven.

Marie - I never had the pleasure of meeting Ed, but I knew he had to be an amazing guy if he was yours! My prayers have been with you and your family for strength during his illness, and my prayers will continue for you all now. May you find strength, healing, peace, and comfort. Love to all. <3

I will always remember our family gatherings with Ed. He entered the room with a smile. He was easy going, had a wickedly subtle sense of humor and always made the day brighter. I was amazed at Ed's strength and resolve when his life took such a tragic turn. He bravely fought and taught all of us a valuable lesson. I know Ed is now in heaven with our Lord, but I will always miss his smile.
