This beautiful woman was my first cousin. She was more than just a cousin, she was the sister I never had. Our families were close because best friends married sisters, her mother Alice and my mother Ruth. Edith Mary was born exactly 5 weeks after her mother's sister, Ruth Enke, gave birth to me. Although living in different states, I cherish the memories of Edith when my family visited the Sedgwicks. We were great pals then and throughout the following years. I will miss being able to pick up the phone and hear her bright and cheerful voice. Love you Edy, Glennie
