This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Michael Boulay, 61, born in 1959 and passed away in 2020. We will remember him forever.
My life has been made richer by knowing Michael as a student, student teacher, and fellow teacher. Michawl always brought a smile and a laugh with him wherever he went. My fondest memory of him was when he organized a synchronized pencil drop in my English class when I was a first year teacher There are many wonderful memories, rest in peace my friend.
Mr.Boulay was my all time favorite teacher! He was one of those teachers who seemed so intimidating, until you personally had him as a teacher and realized that he was actually the absolute funniest person you’d ever have the pleasure of knowing! We still quote his best one liners to this day (I graduated in 2007). I will think of him fondly for the rest of my life. May he Rest In Peace <3
Mike was a mentor to me when I became a teacher at Alvirne in 1995. He was always sharing his wisdom, wit, and sarcasm! At the copy machines, he’d always ask, “What good things do you have for me today?” Despite his sarcastic persona, Mike was a caring and generous person, always thinking about others and what he could do for them. He was giving and generous. Michael will be missed.
Mr. Boulay was a wonderful teacher with a witty, spirited personality. Outside the classroom he invested time in the students, without him I am not sure we would have been able to have half the senior events he chaperoned (Alvirne '87). He also amazingly found time to continue his own education and worked a part-time job for a time. The title doctor, and his final rest is deserved. Peace.
