What a special and exceptional human being!   In my early twenties, I was Dr. Rhoad's Dental Assistant, at his San Francisco office. Patients traveled great distances to be treated by him, because of his fine reputation, the quality of his care, was never short of perfection. He loved the sea otters,  and worked to protect them. I  always regret not moving to work for him in Pebble Beach.
