I first met Doug about 10 years ago. He was a kind and thoughtful man. Always thinking of others.
I learned so much from him and miss his quiet helpful ways.
I was honored to know him!
My sister and mother met Doug while working at Wrigley's. Our friendship with Doug lasted decades. He was so kind to all of us and he was a wonderful friend to my Mother. He knew my mother had no way to get to the Wrigley reunion luncheons that she loved to go to so Doug would personally pick her up and take her to the luncheons.
He was a true gentleman, we will miss Doug every day
My uncle was part of my life from my earliest memories. I will miss him the rest of my life. Need to correct something though. He was born in 1943.
Doug gave me his Mother's Cook book. I will honor still. He also Co signed a Uhaul for my move in 2010 and paid 100 dollars towards my move for my daughter and I. I am forever grateful. Doug never asked for a thing. He gave and gave, and taught me to be a giver and a selfless person by his actions, not only to me but, to so many others. I'm for certain that he will carry on through his generous actions from the lives he has touched.
