Daddy,
You have given us love and shown us how to love. You have taught us patience, joy and the importance of enjoying our families. With gentle guidance you lead us to forgive each other and rejoice in each other. You are the stars in my sky.
Dad
I was blessed to have had you for a father, and fill in as a mom when she passed. You are a wise and gentle soul who found great humor in many aspects of life. Studying dreams and afterlife, I hope to meet up with you in the future. I will always carry you in my heart. Love you so much
Although I did not know Donald personally, I have heard many beautiful stories of his kind and compassionate heart during his years of volunteering with our hospice. His tender care will live on in the hearts of his fellow volunteers and in the families of the patients he cared for. With heartfelt condolences, his friends at Asante Hospice.
I first met Donald when we were in training to volunteer for WinterSpring. We reconnected years later in service to Hospice. Donald's experience with loss and grief shaped his service to others. He was gentle, kind, and steadfast. He touched so many lives - what a legacy! Warmest wishes, Julie and Rebecca, as your journeys continue. Pat Gordon, Hospice Massage Therapist
Donald and I met at Asante hospice where I continue to work as a social worker. We shared many lunches together, talking about an enormous range of topics. Donald was thoughtful, introspective, gentle and kind. When he stopped volunteering at hospice it was not only a loss for hospice, but certainly for me, I have missed his friendship and sweet spirit.
