Diane was one of the nicest people I've known. She welcomed everyone, had a beautiful smile, most importantly, she was beautiful in and out. She was smart and insightful. Most of all, she was a blessing in each of our lives. Diane you will be missed each day.
It was an honor for me to be part of the 2013 Avon Walk team with Diane and Janice. They graciously and warmly opened their home. Diane radiated intelligence, humor, good will, and strength of a natural leader and organizer. I recall her speaking of her work with Seniors, and how interesting and enjoyable it was. The memories will be treasured. With prayers for peace for her loved ones.
I first met Diane through Janice as we trained and did fund-raising together for a Breast Cancer charity walk. Diane was always open and honest, made we feel welcome in her home. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I got to know her. It was easy to tell that Diane was a service-oriented individual, always putting others first. I wish we had time to do another walk.
To my Alpha--I cannot believe that it has been 2 years today. My heart feels like it is just beginning. I miss you and I miss us. I look for you all the time and everywhere. I appreciate and need the signs that you leave around for me as it helps me through the dark times (and there are a lot of them). I know I will be with you some day. I love with all of my being.
