He was my eldest cousin, but I felt very close to him.  Getting to know Dewitt again after all these years was so enriching for me.  He was a very kind, very thoughtful and sincere soul, and he will be greatly missed.

A truly fine man, an amazing teacher, and thankfully for me, a mentor that had a profound impact on my life. I have always, and will continue to, hold him dear to my heart.
