I am shocked and saddened to read this. I sat with Denise at The Village Garden Club luncheon just days before and we had such a nice conversation. My sympathies to her family. Fly high with the angels Denise .

Denise was president of Parish Committee (the trustees) of The First Parish when I was the rookie new minister there in the fall of 1996. She was an amazingly good leader and teacher -- she made my first year work. My wife, Kay, and I shared many meals with Don and Denise at their wonderful home over the years. She was very special. And she'll amuse those angels.
