David was a devoted partner to my Mom, Carolyn, for many years.  He added humor and compassion to all of our lives.  His caring and patience with my Mom was steadfast....even as her dementia and Parkinsons took their toll.  David was a GENTLE MAN in every sense of the word....We feel blessed to have had him our lives.....Judy, Bob, and Megan.

My grandpa had a long, happy life for 92 years. He was the best, sweetest, most caring, loving, funniest, cutest grandpa ever! So grateful to of had him. Always missing California and family out there, but times like these make it even harder, to be far away. My last grandparent. He had an amazing life, and was such an amazing person. I'll have a screwdriver later for you gramps. "Always happy hour". Rest Peacefully.  Cheers.

A fine man raised a fine son in my friend Dana.  David served his country and family well. He will be greatly missed.

Today is the fourth birthday where I’m unable to visit you or call
you to celebrate your birthday. There isn’t a day that passes when I haven’t thought of you, with gratitude for the love, support, and values you instilled in us. I looked at several family pictures today, and you were smiling in all of them.  Happy 97th Birthday dad!
