I'm sadden to hear of Dan's passing. I played the game Survivor with Dan. He sure was sweet kind and polite. I remember after the game was over and we all went home a few months later Dan had his first child a little girl named Reese. I sent him a gift and he was so surprised. He messaged me on fb and was so polite and thankful and told me it wasn't necessary. I was happy he was happy. What a nice guy. Dan will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family. Love Susie

I'm so terribly sad to hear of Dan's passing. He was a very sweet, and gentle man. I only knew Dan during our time on Survivor, which I know he cherished. My heart goes out to his family and close friends right now. I pray that they have strength and find comfort in each other.

I'm sorry to hear of Dan's passing. Survivor has been a huge part of my life. I guess you could say I'm one of those superfans. Survivor: Gabon is one of my top 5 favorite seasons, mostly for the different characters it had. Dan was not as loud or over the top as others, but his allure lay in how open he was about his sensitivities. I greatly connected to this and remember him for it. RIP.
