What a beautiful woman, inside and out.  Anytime we were together Cindy always talked about her boys and how proud she was.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.  Cindy will be so missed, but I am so glad we have the blessed hope of seeing her again one day.  Cindy was an inspiration in so many ways.

Dear Family of Cynthia Dull Hankley,

My name is Danny Finnerty.  We have never met.  I did however know Cindy during our childhoods.

It is hard to express how sorry I am for your loss.  I saw the notice in the newspaper a couple of days after it posted.  Cindy’s personal devotion to the preservation of our natural environment was certainly a noble passion.  And the photograph was a lovely choice.  If you don’t mind my saying so I was pretty smitten with Cindy for the short span of time we lived down the street from one another during our elementary school years.  It’s clearly evident she retained her youthful beauty.

I hope the abundance of natural splendor that we enjoy throughout Virginia will be a constant reminder of Cindy and a source of comfort.

Warmest regards
