I was a secretary during the Maier years at Kaiser... I admired him beyond measure, not only for his leadership, but for the lessons he taught by his example. He has earned a heavenly reward.

I am sending you prayers. That your talking to your friends and family that went before you.  Eating all the things you liked best. Checking on our old O.W.R.C. rowers that were waiting for you to arrive.  I really miss you.  I will have trees planted in Yosemite in you honor.
