I knew Charlie at AVCO Lycoming where we first met in 1969.  I was fresh out of college and Charlie was my manager.  He was not only a manager but also a friend.  We spent many years achieving numerous accomplishments and patents.  Charlie was a complete engineer and also a business man.  Plus, he was a mentor in many ways.  I shall remember Charlie and still call on the moments we shared.
