Charlie touched my mind, heart and spirit in a way that no other has! I am forever grateful for his generous caring and dialogue processes, which helped open up a whole new world of truth and understanding for myself and so many others.  His spirit lives on in a very real way!  Joan Holliday

No matter how much understanding you thought you had, Charlie could ask a question or say something that would open the world more, take everything to a deeper level, offer a different perspective, and further enliven one's energy. He inspired inquiry and ongoing commitment to meaningful effort. He intently connected with one's endeavours in a caring way. We are forever grateful.

In my work with Charlie and IDP over the last 40 years, I have been bringing heart, soul and caring to life in value-adding work with business, community, family and personal living.  Charlie always helped me see and create the higher potential of life with consciousness and spiritual well being,  We will go forward to achieve "the impossible   dream" with Charlie's grace and guidance.

Charlie generated conversations that touched our hearts and minds and lasted for decades without losing freshness or the power to sustain a community free of the usual trappings of hierarchy, control, guilt or manipulations....a most rare taste of what life and society can be!

Often seemed magic how he warmed our hearts
by the fire of generous and caring
dialogue, igniting our calm spirits
with the ferociousness of a meaning-
ful life. His questioning ask us to touch
the fire, of what we and the world could be.

Knowing Charlie: "There's more to seeing than meets the eye." I cannot recall a single instance of being in the presence of Charlie and not leaving with a real change in how I was seeing the world. Dreams became real, meaningful. Aspirations took on levels unimaginable. Nature came alive in ways unheard of. Our Creator Spirit became present. Thank God for Charlie in our lives and world.

I cannot imagine who I would be or what I would be doing with my life if I had not met Charlie in 1977. I had aspirations to make a difference, but no idea what that meant or how to do so. The first time I met him was when Jim Clark invited me to Carmel. It was an education session with executives. Charlie posed so many new ideas. I was stunned and awakened. My life has mattered. Thanks CGK
