Charlie was my boss at APU from December, 1997 until he retired.

I met with him weekly and in addition to discussing my department and future University visions, I got to know him as a genuine kind person who cared about others.

I’m sorry to have learned of his passing today. Chuck was a great teacher at APU. I will truly miss him and Pat very much. My prayers are with you all.

Mr  Fahl was a great teacher and he encouraged me to go as far as I could with math and I did.  He will never be forgotten.. Praying for the family and friends

I will always think of Charlie as a reliable F.I.S.H. volunteer and supporter.  He was a great help and inspiration at many a golf tournament.  I can't thank him and Ruth enough for their many years of service to FISH and the whole Anchorage community.
