I am only now finding out for sure that you have passed. I was afraid when I no longer got any answer from my texts, but held out hope till today. Our friendship since 1972 has been very dear to me. I will miss your wonderful sense of humor and our long conversations most, remembering the good times. Farewell my friend!

When I couldn’t reach Carolyn on her birthday, I feared the worst and found this obituary.  
To friends and family, my condolences on the loss of such a powerhouse!  Carolyn made a big imprint on the legal profession, particularly the peacemaking arm.  She was a model of living a full life.
