We became friends with Carole when she was Frank Reynolds' nurse.  Carole "held my hand" during numerous illnesses of my children.  After Jack died, Carole would come for dinner every month, spend time with our 4 grandchildren, and often talked about Arlene, Doug, Kyle, Levi, Micaela, Charlie and all of her Minnesota family.  Carole was a treasured friend. I worked with and came to love Carole at Janney Children's Hospital in Mpls. She was a loving nurse and awesome leader.  I left Abbott in 1968 but kept in touch on an annual basis at Christmas time.  I'm so sorry for your loss, Arlene.
