Candy was the very essence of what a Christian is supposed to be.  She always considered others before herself. She made sacrifices for her family and friends. She never showed animosity to anyone (except the bad driver who cut her off). She loved children and spent most of her life looking out and caring for them. She will truly be missed.

Candy was a great human being. She was always concerned about others. She was a very loving,  caring person. I will miss her great stories, and I will miss her. I hope to see you on the other side.

I have so many childhood memories with yalls family. She was our favorite babysitter and we enjoyed all the many days and nights spent with her. We could always count on her to have cheetos while watching her soap operas and letting us ride in the "way way back" of the van to go places. I wish my kids could've known her. We'll always be thankful for her and my moms friendship. Prayers

Candy was the 2nd Mom of my daughter and I the 2nd Mom to her daughter.  Our girls grew up together into beautiful young ladies.  I am so saddened by her passing.  I hadn't seen Candy in years, but I know how much she loved life.  However, she is now home with her Lord and there is no better place to be.

Candy was always so welcoming and loving to me.  She treated me like I was her own.  She loved her grandbabies more than anything. One moment I'll always hold close was when I saw her for a holiday not long after I moved to AZ.  She hugged me close as I was leaving and told me to follow my heart no matter what anyone said. Exactly what I needed to hear.  She is so missed.

Many of my childhood memories were spent with Candy. She practically raised me and introduced me to so many things that influenced me growing up. I especially remember all the times we’d spend watching Saved by the Bell or Labyrinth and bonding over our love for Dr. Pepper that no one else seemed to understand. I owe a very large part of who I am today to her, and I’ll miss her so much.

We Love the Scott Family.  Candy was our next door neighbor who babysat our children. We never worried about what was being instilled in them. She was a Christian and her life reflected that. She loved our children and they loved Aunt Candy. She was a beautiful person with a beautiful spirit!
