Dear Family.....I knew BJ when I lived in Richmond and was active at the Gayton Kirk. I still get various headlines from the RTD and saw of BJ’s passing in the obituaries today. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved father and family member. I didn't know him but I see what a wonderful loving man and father he was. I am truly sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with MC and family. May God give you peace and strength during this very difficult time and continue to bless your family.
We will be remembered for the things we did and memorialized by those we knew. While I didn't know Mr. Skammer, there is no doubt in my mind, for those reasons, he was a very fine man.
