Candle lit  by Rebecca Howard on October 5th, 2017

Mr. Leavitt taught me Latin for 4 years (62 - 66)at Marblehead High.  The fact that I can still read and speak it after all these years is a testament to what a great teacher he was. Rebecca (Ketchum) Howard

Forced by my basketball coach to run Cross Country for MHS; I learned about hard work, building endurance, and pushing myself.....due to the "teachings" of Mr. Leavitt. He was someone who you immediately respected and who had such a sincere honesty about him......Richard Taylor MHS Class of 1967
