Allen Gary Palmer

A virtual clearing in the woods, this site is a place for all that knew Allen Palmer to share and laugh and learn.  If you were a legal colleague, you may not know the crazy quirky side.  If you were a friend, you may reconnect with someone from your past.  If you are family, you know that Allen valued his family tree and all the broken branches.  Share freely in this space and share this space with others.

The world is a better place having had Allen dance among us.  "What a long strange trip its been...."

Having known Allen since the day I was born, I have always considered him family. I have so many fond childhood memories that include Allen, and as an adult, he helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life. Allen’s kindness and talent enriched the lives of those he touched—professionally and personally—and he will continue to be missed.

Ah, man, you got me through high school. Whether it was The Clash, U2, The Ramones, or Springsteen’s mammouth Born to Run/The River/Born in The USA tours, we saw concerts too numerous to list here. Wherever you are, I hope you are behind the wheel of The Blitzmobile with the radio cranked. Xo Jay

“I went into the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. …I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life, to cut a broad swath and shave close, to drive life into a corner, and reduce it to its lowest terms.”
Henry David Thoreau
