Mary-Curtis was such remarkable person and will be so deeply missed – truly a force for good in the world, always committed to making things better, then working to make her vision a reality. Gracious, kind, determined, resolute, she made you believe that change is possible, because it was possible for her. Sending heartfelt sympathy to all her family.

I had the very good fortune to have Mary-Curtis as my mentor and teacher at SOU in 1993 as I was persuing my masters degree in education and early childhood.  All the things I accomplished and the vision I created for my career in teaching was a result of her gentle and knowledgeable guidance.  She made such an empact on every person she met and I am proud to have known her.    Susie Moore

The Oregon CASA Network has chosen to honor Mary-Curtis Gramley by creating an annual scholarship to attend the National CASA Association Conference. The scholarship will be awarded to a CASA staff person or volunteer who embodies Mary-Curtis’ commitment to equity, inclusion and service to at-risk children.
