Thank you, Marty, for your enthusiasm and encouragement about all things photographic. I didn't get to know you as well as I would have liked - I had hoped that someday I might have been able to take a class with you -  but am glad I got to know you through Photographers Rendezvous and Center for Photographic Art.

So sad to hear about Marty’s passing.
She worked with my mom at the Oakland welfare department.
She was a kind & gentle spirit and a great friend
She always turned us onto cool music, saw the tubes at bimbos 365 club, gave me the 1st Lynyrd Skynyrd album, saw  Dylan & the Band. R.I.P. Marty
